Note From the Artist: "The WAKE EP was created back in 2013, at a time when I was still discovering my voice and how I wanted the world to hear me for the first time. I was very ambitious, but also very anxious to release these songs, and lived in fear that it wouldn't be accepted by friends or family. At the time being a lonely black kid writing indie folk songs was not popular in my circles. Anxiety would continuously creep in wondering if the songs were good enough. Looking back I wish I had released the music sooner, and accepted whatever the outcome carried. Now time has past, and I'm releasing this music for someone to hopefully see the same value that I saw at the young age of writing these songs. Flaws and imperfections, here they are.
